CHAPTER 6

 The cold air reached her back from the open door and Chichi looked the other side. She wrapped herself with her arms.She recalled how Zhalion looked back and pulled the woman away before they vanished, Chichi didn’t know which room they went.

” Stupid asshole,” she clicked her tongue.

She grabbed her purse and walked to the Exit and a voice called her. The voice sounded familiar but she wondered who could be. She only know Zane and nobody else than this stupid actors she adored.

” Chie,” the voice sounded romantic.

She looked back and saw Lee Chang- Sun. He wasn’t alone but with Zhalion  behind with the woman whom she suspect was his girlfriend. She noticed the others who were at the back. Chang- Sun was surprised as her.

” Chang,” her mouth mumbled inaudibly.

He ran toward her and embraced her in his arms. Chichi was still digesting what was happening. She pinched herself to verify everything was real. Chang wouldn’t let her go, she could smell the aroma of rose aftershave and hair spray. 

” I am here, babe, ” he kissed her on her lips.

Chichi opened her eyes wider and acknowledged how Xing Zhalion was standing. He was puzzled maybe because he belittled me, she thought. Shr smirked when she saw him leaning on the wall like he would faint.She and Lee were the centre of attention. They mumbled inaudibly among themselves in mandarin. Maybe they came to shock that a Korean was in love with a African. Other part of Chichi felt better but she was mainly embarrassed because she had slept with Xing Zhalion accidentally. Thst hoe she saebit even though it really wasn’t.

” Lee… I was about to go home. Can we talk there?” she gestured with her eyebrows that they go other side with no people because she felt ashamed.

” I missed you. I searched for you ……..and you had ran to China. Baby how could you?” he sounded like he was interrogating. 

” I came to work,” she whispered and tried to drag him but he over powered her and kissed her deeply.

” I promised to look after you… both financially and physically,” he touched both her hands sounding serious.

” I love you”

He kissed her again and she pushed him slightly.

” Lee…please lets talk at home,” she said in a low tune while her eyes scanned the group.

Finally Lee agreed and he put his hand on her waist and they disappeared in the thin air. Zhalion suddenly pushed his woman and followed them. The woman was confused to his actions and wondered what was the cause.

He climbed on top of her because she slumped the bed . She didn’t know what to ask him and whether to forgive .

” I’m tired ,” she sighed .

” Have you found another man?” he asked while looking straight in her eyes.

She shook her head . He kissed her lip and she turned aside ,” It just a kiss”

‘Why was he not talking about how his sister didn’t like her? I should just go with the flow? No, no , he must apologise the way his sister treated me,’ she thought while gazing at him.

” Can we sleep? Tomorrow we talk?” she pleaded.

He got off on top of her body and slept beside her. Chichi was not feeling comfortable because he acted like he didn’t wrong her. She expected an apology but he seemed to forget. She cast her feelings aside and wanted him to admit his wrongs. And thers was another stress her incident witj Xing Zhalion. What if he would tell Changsun?

Suddenly he grabbed her by force and his grip was stronger.

” Why are you refusing me? Did you sleep with someone?”

” Chang…. please you hurting me ,” she cried in a low voice. She had fear and her heart pounded and stomach was rolling with stones.

She never feared for her life like this. What had gotten in his head? He was never that jealous. 

‘ He will kill me if he know about me and Zhalion,’ she thought and struggled to remove his hands on her waist. He pinned her down that she wouldn’t be able to fight.

” Tell me the truth,” he hissed.

Chichi tried to flee but couldn’t because they were on the bed and no chance of winning. She had never seen him like this before. Chang- Sun was always polite and patient. She looked at him in the rleye and he let go. He saw fear in her eyes and didn’t want to make thingd worse.She quickly rushed out and couldn’t believe what has happening

” Morning… I made breakfast. I need to be at the studio early,” a voice shouted and she yawned.

She opened her eyes to a smell of crispy bacon. Last night memories came in like a reminder to her. Her heart pounded , why did she fear in her heart? Her stomach clutched tightly. She quickly dressed up quickly in her jean and black tee- shirt and hurried to work.

There was a group of people in front at the parkade. She wanted to ignore it but something made curiosity kill the cat. There seemed to be people fighting but couldn’t distinguish who they were.

” Chichi …Chichi,” a voice called out.

She turned and searched among heads among the group and recognized Zane. She rushed over.

” Zhali attacked Lee Joon about you,” she whispered and hold her hand.

She pressed the crowd so she could get close to watch them clearly. Lee Chang- Sun pushed him away and he fell thud on the floor. Chang- Sun smiled that she witnessed he was the winner.

” Chie is mine . You better off,” Chang- Sun tilted his head with threatening eyes. 

” I don’t want that bitch,” Zhalion rolled his eyes and dust himself with his hand.

Chichi knew Zane was right. The first thing tha came in her head was , ‘ Chang knows I slept with this Cing Xhalion”.

Feqr creeped in her blood and made her heart palpitate.The worst was that she was called the b- word. She rushed towards them and slapped Zhalion on his face .

“Iam a bitch?” she furiously asked.

” Babe… chinese don’t have respect. Leave him! I have a surprise for you,” his hand send chills to her spine when he touched her waist.

Chichi was gobsmacked , wondering what surprose he had.

He knelt down and rummaged through his pocket. He took a box from his pocket. He opened it slowly. Chichi didn’t know what emotions to take because she was fuming in rage. The diamond ring sparking in the box made her smile, chasing the anger away.

” Will you marry me?” he added.

A thin slim woman with long brown hair appeared and dragged Zhalion but he pushed her away. He walked away,she smiled that Zhalion was jealous.  

” I don’t blame you… you are a kid”

” Nì ( You) ” he pointed at her with with his middle finger and frowned.

It was nice to be loved and made important. She was too busy concentrating on Zhalion and forgetting the important moment. A hand shook her dress and she came back to the moment. Lee Joon , I mean Lee Chang- Sun was kneeling infront of her.

” Will you marry me?” 

” Lee…. what about the woman you already chose,” she was busy finding words to delay the answer or she was confused.

” I been chasing a woman like you all my life and I prefer you”

” I love you…. Chie , I told you it was a mistake…… do you remember your dream about meeting me . I had a similiar dream that taught me that you are the one I had been searching for all along,” he sounded serious.

Chichi looked down and the group was simultaneously chorusing,”Jaì gěi tā” ( Marry Him)

She remembered this words before in a series ‘ A River Runs Through It’. She nodded her head and Chang- Sun put the ring on her fingers. She smiled like it was a dream come true. He jumped and kissed her deeply while everyone had a raucous of laughter and clapping hands

( months later) 

” You pregnant?” he asked.

She had been vomiting for two pased days and refused to see a doctor. She was back in Korea and Chang- Sun’s sister didn’t interfere anymore. One problem solved, she smiled in relief. But she never get close to his sister because she pretend to like her in Changsun’ s presence.

” No , it can’t be,” she gaze at her reflection on the wall.

She looked a bit fatter and her tummy was showing off. Suddenly she was clouded with anxious. 

‘ Could it be Zhalion’ s child?’

Another problem crept out from the underworld.
