Shall it be me, you or us making a change
Young birds about to fly the national flag
Yet the wings are spreading in shadows
Yet the eyes are blurred with fear
We have the potential yet the light is dimmed
Our voices are screaming in deep ditches
Gazing at my moribund youth crying river tears
Drugs and alcohol have won the youth unadulteratedly
Depression and diseases are deadly surceasing the youth,
Nevertheless, the youth is fighting for pristine excellence
I see hustling youth everyday yet no extra hand available
I see graduating youth every year yet no jobs available
Shall it be me, you or us making a change
The rain is pouring on old broken rusted tanks
Youth is confused by corrupted and misguided leaders
Merely promises everyday yet no profound actions
Shall we be heard and given all opportunities we need
Youth is the future thus let it spread its wings high
