Who is this old woman looking at me,

Everyday when I stare into the mirror?

Almost half of her teeth are gone.

Her wrinkles are like the creases of a crumpled shirt.

Her skin is sagging.

And her eyes, blue and deep are sunken.

Her head is full of silver grey hairs.

When I smile, she smiles.

And when I frown, she frowns.

Oh my God!

I have just realised.

The old woman is me.

I have aged!

I sigh and smile.

Oh! How the years have gone by.
