Not once but twice

Not easy but harder

Not so long ago

It comes as a hurricane

It shakes my skinny body

Inviting shivering in me

Like a loner tree on wilderness

It uproots me

It is always tempting

I sit on bench

Expecting it to cease

But when I rise

It circulates me like teeth around tongue

It has thorns

Very sharp as slayer dagger

Vicious like a machine gun

I stayed at different locations

Hoping to get far from it

But it always follows me

It’s like the shadow of myself

Now am acclimated

I have accepted it to be part of me

It’s invisible

I only stay strong now expecting it to come

People call it maturity

Sometimes I go and strike it

People refer to it as taking a risk

Seem now everyday is risky to me
