How can this life be so cruel to us girls? Not feeling safe around other people, especially men who call themselves “faithful”? How can I be able to trust the person that I’m in a relationship with after the trauma? I feel like God is failing us as women. How can he let these monsters harm us, kill us like we some piece of meat! and also the justice system turns us down by giving perpetrators 5 years’ conviction. How is that fair? God, you need to come down and save us.

The world is tired of this pandemic of GBV why must it be us, women, to suffer from this soul-breaking pain. I really hope that God can see our pain and he can heal our wounds.
