The majesty of the rain, dancing silver liquid down,
A glistening blanket on the ground, a peaceful watery sound.
It kisses earth with its tears, my heart is filled with wonder,
Though with sadness comes the pleasure, of being caught in a thunder.
The earth soaked with its dew, the air turned dark and grey,
As the droplets slide down my window, I quietly start to pray.
For all the beauty I behold, I thank the heavens above,
For blessing us with such marvel, and the power of one single drop.
And though it brings sadness, of solemn memories and pain,
The majesty of the rain, still brings us joy and grace again.
