Knowledge awaits it’s hunters
Dreams pierce through the rain drops chasing gutters
Why is our future guided by ethnicity when all races are for runners
Who said food belongs to them married to hunger
I imagine a future with not a trace of the past
I ponder my mind with love that hates lust
I don’t want to be alive but as long as I breathe I must
All I desire is to travel with the wind like dust
If only I witnessed the beginning, then I’d enlighten the dusk
Who am I if humanity defines impunity
Will we ever rise or forever struggle with carrying my head up high?
Heavy with thoughts of how I resound pity
Truly speaking the thought of dreams coming to life seems an utter lie
Who am I to mock fate
This might be a thought birthed in my heart by hate
