A strong black woman

Person of African descent

Who lives her truth

And is very proud of her roots

I stand my own ground

Not afraid to raise my voice out loud

For what I believe is right

I come from a bold family

Confidence and pride in what they taught me

Respect and love are what they showed me

I portray a good image

Very respectful of my culture and heritage

I see myself as a queen

Who is determined and very keen

To be realised and to be seen
