She knows.
I tried.
She knows that I tried.
She knows how much I cried.
When I had no strength to patch the cracks on the walls.
She was always there to rebuild them strong as the most powerful shield for wars.
A builder can’t build on wetlands.
But she made plans to withhold the most highest building on the sea.
Sadly, her efforts go unseen.
As she’s slowly drowning in my river of tears.
Struggling to hold them back.
She calls out for me and reminds me of who I am, trying to chase away the lack.
Seems like she doesn’t know.
There’s nothing she can do now.
We’ve reached our end game.
She believed in me.
She believed in us.
I admire her spirit so I’ll let it rest within.
Till we rise again.
