Mirror mirror on the wall..

Who’s the saddest of them all?

Tears of sorrow streaming down,

Losing hope and wearing a frown.

But there’s still hope to be found,

Where the light shines all around.

Look within, you’ll find a way,

Your old self is not far away.

There’s still hope if you believe,

A new day will make you see.

I try to look ahead, but all I see

Is the past that haunts me endlessly.

The shadows of my mind cast a gloom,

Darkening the light of each new day’s bloom.

I long for the sun to shine once more,

To bring my heart out of its shadowed core.

When I gazed into the mirror,

My reflection was a blurrier.

No trace of the person I once was,

A hollow shell, a heart of dust.

I reach for hope, but it slips away,

Lost forever, gone astray.

Will I ever find my heart again?

Lost within this lonely den.

And If my reflection could speak it would say..

“You’ve lost your way, you’ve lost your light,

Your hope has faded into night.

But there’s a spark within your soul,

A flicker of the light you used to know.

Let it guide you on your way,

And find your hope again today.”

Mirror mirror on the wall..

Who’s the one to break the fall?

With a heart that’s strong and true,

And a spirit that will pull you through.

So stand tall and face the day,

Your reflection will light the way.
