Little infant 

What did she ever do, 

To deserve such cruelty? 

Hours after she was born 

She gets sentenced to death 

Ow little infant 

Wrapped in a school jersey 

when put in a bin bag

As if you were rubbish. 

You were discarded, 

Discarded without a chance, 

A chance in life. 

A baby was found dead. 

Just hours after she was born

Found in a bin

Wrapped in a school jersey 

Placed in a black bag 

And left to die

By someone who carried her for nine months,

Who was supposed to care for her. 

Who can be so cruel,

To discard such a beautiful gift, 

A gift of life?

A pure, sinless infant

Denied a chance in life

In the most brutal of ways.
