I had a chance in my hands
an opportunity of a lifetime
but I blew it
I had pure gold in my hand
shining bright like it should
but I messed up
I had the world  across
eating in the palm of my hand
but I screwed up
I was the talk of the town
most wanted to walk like me
but I destroyed it
some say “I knew it”
others say “I saw it”
