How come colonisers, are the ones narrating black history to us blacks?

Are we not brainwashed by this system?

And why are they afraid of confronting the truth?

I shall be the voice to the voiceless.

Be the eyes of the blind.

Be there for women and children.

Africa still needs me to protect her,

From the vultures and predators of the world who want her resources.

How am I a foreigner in the African lands?

My home is just a few kilometres away from your home.

Separated by the oceans and the borders.

Same culture, history and same food.

We dance to the same music and speak the same language, for when you talk, I understand.

To me, you’re a brother and a sister, and yet to you, I am a foreigner in the African lands.

Either way, I am home.
