She lay frozen, like the death of a broken clock

Unmoved and frail among wrapped in the sheets of the final hours of life.

She stares into the eyes of death, and it’s silent cold, lifeless breeze whispers “It’s time.”

No more air to gasp…

No more life within her bones

Just a nameless body, placed into the earth

waiting to meet the Lord of all Lords and to be held account for her life’s worth.

What a beautiful end with a sad goodbye to all of those left behind.
