My angel

I know you’re up there looking down at us.

Smiling and filled with tears of joy

Because one thing you loved with your whole heart was just PEACE.

It took millions and thousands of seconds to arrive where we are now.

My only wish it to make you proud.

See, if I fail to fulfill my goals and materialise my dreams,

Then I know I would’ve disappointed you as you’ve trusted in me so much.

But at times I just wish you were here with me,

Holding my hand and showing me the right way.

Because I tend to feel like I’m lost and I’m failing you.

This feeling takes all the energy, strength and hope in me.

I wish I could chase it away.

And I shall make sure that I fulfill all my wishes
