When I think about that day,

Where I will leave this world,

Where I will breathe my last,

And my heart stops beating,

My body being of no use.

When I think about leaving behind loved ones,

Memories being the only thing I leave behind,

Tears which I cannot wipe.

There are words that I will leave unspoken,

That my heart yearns to say.

When that day finally comes,

Firstly, I loved you all, I might not have said it,

And these words might sound strange,

As they never came out from my lips before.

Do not cry when I’m gone,

Nor mourn till dawn,

Pick yourself up,

And pray for me, verily, that’s what I will need the most.

When I’m gone to the unknown world,

To those I have hurt, broke your trust and soul,

Your forgiveness, which I couldn’t seek, I hope your heart will be willing,

As this is better than any gift.

And to all, prepare for this day.
