Make sure that all your social media accounts have your name as on your ID and that you do not have any inappropriate content on there. Employers might Google your name to see if your are on social media, what interest you and what type of person your are.

Make sure that your CV is truthful and that there is no spelling errors or grammar.

Only apply for a job where you meat the minimum requirements. And make sure that your work experiences are in line with the position. If you have never worked before, do volunteer work. Or apply first for a learnership or other programs to gain working experience.

Before an interview, Google the vision, mission of the company and what services the company render. Make sure you ask the name of the HR officer who invented you to the interview and that you have the telephone number of the company. Make sure that you have the physical address to where the interview would be held and the correct time of the interview. Ask for directions to the company if you are not sure where it is. If you are running late, phone the HR officer and explain to why you would be late.

THE INTERVIEW 

Dress the part: If you have applied for an office job, dress yourself in a black or navy blue, it could be in a pens and shirt or a shirt which is over the knees with a blouse and a formal jacket. Never let your hair be in your face, or apply to much makeup and wearing much jewelry.

When your are let into the interview room, if it is one person interviewing, shake the hand of the interviewer after the interviewer have introduced him or herself. wait for the interviewer to over you a chair before you sit. Where the is more than one interviewer, they will over you a chair and than introduced themselves unto you. Sit straight up with your hands fold on your lap. Look the interviewer straight in the eye as he or she speak, listen to the question and answer it. If you do not understand the question ask the interviewer to make it more simple for you and if you are not sure of the answer ask the interviewer too let it stand for later.

After an interview you would be asked do you want to ask a question, never say no. It will seem that you have no interest in the company. You could ask them by when will the successful candidate be appointed? Or any other questions that are related to the company.

When you are ask about yourself, speak on your qualifications and experience.

When asked, what make you the best candidate for the job or why should you be hired? Answer on how your work experience fit into the job and on how you will use your skills in the position.

Questions differ from company to company, make sure that you know much about the company you want to work for.
