I met you in the tax rank at Isipingo when I was heading home, tired and hungry. I was weak from squeezing myself between the million bodies at Pick n Win. My hands were extremely red and itchy, they had suffered a lot while pushing the trolley with stiff wheels. Every part of my body was complaining.

My stomach was growling and groaning in hunger. The smell of delicious shwarma from the corner of the rank was increasing my stomach complaints. I hesitated going there but then I knew that if I left the rank I would miss the next tax. So I just let my eyes wondered in the direction of the shwarma shop, neglecting my hunger. The tax to FnG came ,we got in and luckily I found a sit by the window. I resumed to look in the same direction through the window. I looked at the people coming from the shwarma shop and swallow my saliva after they took a bite.

The next thing, I found myself swallowing your beauty and like the shwarma would’ve done, your beauty filled my stomach. All the pain and tiredness disappeared at your sight, you might be a magical healing flower. You was wearing a yellow floral dress that matched your yellow bone body. The weather was also admiring you, it was sunny and bright.

“Is the tax full?” The harsh driver asked roughly.

Oh no! I felt my heart beating my chest vehemently, I understood the message. My eyes weren’t ready to get off your angelic beauty. Your beauty too was a melody in my ears, it was calling out to me with love.

Seeing your beauty afar was a drop of water in my thirsty heart that needed a full glass. I looked at the driver, he was an old man with potbelly, his wrath could be seen through his scars-masked face. He was tall and dark, I mean ten times dark and I thought to myself ‘what a giant!’ Anyway I had to be gentle to that giant for you, for your beauty or maybe for my heart.

“Driver!” I said with a smile, a big one.

The driver turned to me and his scary eyes gave me gaze. I felt my heart sinking, I took a glance at you as you walked towards Pep Cells. My heart came back to life and beaten again.

“I need to go to the ladies room” I said, avoiding eye contact with the driver.

“As you can see the tax will be full soon, only two seats left, if you leave I’ll not wait for you.” The driver said ruthlessly grinding a small peanut with his devil teeth.

It was not like his tax was the last tax, so I jumped out without hesitation. I ran to you, leaving the aromatic smell of shwarma behind me, following the sweet smell of playgirl perfume behind you. When I was close enough I tapped your shoulder and felt a strong chemistry as I touched you. You turned to me and bestowed me a smile, I smiled back. I had to say something before you asked why I stopped you. By noticing you beautiful ocean blue eyes and thick pink lips shining with lipgloss, I knew what to say.

“You look so beautiful and amazing” I said smilingly.

You smiled and nodded but your eyes were curious and asking questions. ” Is that all? Is that why stopped me from my way? Unbelievable!

I saw a beautiful gold necklace at the jewellery store next to us, a help to feed your curiosity.

“Do you see that necklace?” I asked pointing at the necklace in a transparent and clear shelf.

“Yes, I see it , it’s beautiful and attractive, right?” You asked.

” Just like you, that’s why I managed to spot amongst many” I said with my eyes concentrated on you.

“Can I buy it for you? I asked.

“But why?” You asked

“You remind me of my sister, please don’t say no, in fact I won’t take no for an answer.” I said insisting and leaving you with no choice.

You nodded and said yes not bothering to ask about my sister.

I don’t know you much about you, I don’t even know your name and surname and you don’t know mine too. However I hope you still remember me because I left a piece of me in you, as for me I still remember you because you’re special.

To be honest I didn’t buy that necklace for you because you remind me of anyone special, I bought it for you because you’re special. That’s the only reason, you’re special.
