In our first chapter, we talked about understanding the word. But now we talk about the time Jesus came to this world, the time he died for our sins, and the beginning of the world.
God created Adam and Eve with love and freedom, giving them the power to do anything at any time. He knew that, by doing so, Adam would eventually separate from him.
And by the time Adam separated from God, he changed our nature and corrupted our lives for good. Not that by that time, when he separated himself from God, by the time Adam sinned, we were still in him.
The beginning of pain, suffering, betrayal, and death became Adam and Eve’s fate. And that fate became ours too.
In Romans 6:23, the scripture reads, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is internal through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
See, God knew that it was not our fault that we were born sinners. That is one of the most important reasons Jesus was born in this world.
God himself united the life of his son with our humanity in the womb of Mary.
To correct what Adam did wrong. He sent the second, or last, Adam into our world.
Who is the second or last Adam? It is Jesus himself.
And by the time Mary gave birth to Jesus, there had begun the transformation of the word through him. So Mary gave birth to Jesus and the word at the same time.
Jesus traveled the whole universe, sharing the word of his father, healing and blessing those who wanted to be one with him, and ending his journey by cleansing the world with his blood to bring peace and forgiveness to this world.
After his death, the world changed for the better but was not fully cleansed. That is why we still pray and ask for forgiveness. God knew that the death of Jesus would not heal the world fully, but he knew that the world would become better while we kneeled and prayed before him.
It is important to pray each and every day until you’re fully forgiven. Only through God can we be forgiven. But that will not happen overnight. No, the journey to a peaceful life is long, and most of us don’t get the chance to reach that journey.
To be continued.
