Lindy a 18 year old girl whose enthusiastic, goal driven and hard worker. It was her childhood dream of becoming a Social worker one day but as sometimes life doesn’t go according to our plans.

Lindy was waiting for her matric results anxiously when her grandmother called her to the living room.

” Lindy my granddaughter l khow you are worried about your matric results but don’t worry yourself l khow you’ll do well trust me l khow dear child , just be easy on yourself don’t stress so much.”

Granny l tried my best l studied very hard for my exams.l promise you that l will make you proud grandmother l will make you proud, you khow granny that my dream was always to be a Social worker because granny l have the desire to help kids who are like myself, kids who are orphan’s and don’t find the care and support they need that’s my goal granny

” Okay Lindy l hear you child please go to the kitchen and make some tea for us so that we can drink while we are still waiting for the results dear

yes grandmommy l will go prepare the tea soon you khow granny l’m anxious and worried too what if l didn’t do well enough l mean that would mean that l have to repeat the whole year again eish granny l don’t know really l’m just so worried.

Just as Lindy went to make the tea, her best friend patience was already knocking at their door and shouting Lindy to come see the newspaper with so much excitement 🥰

“Lindy open the door, Lindy open the door!!”

Lindy suddenly left the kitchen teapot and rushed outside to open the door for her friend.

Her friend was full of joy and laughter Nesty we’ve made it , we did so well come see for yourself here’s the newspaper

Lindy couldn’t believe her eyes , a bachelor’s degree pass with 5 distinctions 🥰💟🙏🏾 , “Ohhh mighty God thank you so much thank you my Lord 🙏🏾😢 it wasn’t easy Lord , but here l am Lord 🙏🏾😢🙌 thank you”

She eventually called her grandmother and announced the good news to her💟🥰her grandmother was full of joy and gratitude she hugged them and told them that ended hardwork, determination and perseverance finally paid she gave the R200 so they can go buy coldrink to celebrate

They were so excited and they went for celebration with their other fellow classmates
