One Sunday I was with my friends in the shade under the tree. I don’t like having friends, I have only three of them. My friends and I had an argument about us being in this world, they say they don’t see the importance of being in this world.
I tried to show them the good part of being in this world but no one listened. “How can life be so unfair, I mean I am physically fully equipped, nothing is missing, so what must I do, who am I to deserve this kind of living.”
Most people would say, “Life is a journey… life is a journey.” Then if life is really a journey where are we going! One of my friends asked why are living if we are going to struggle like this in the future. That question touched me a lot.
I ask myself that question several times with no answer.
On Monday I was preparing for school I asked my mom before I went, “What is the use of living while we know that we will struggle forever.”
“Better days are coming,” she answered, “no one wishes to live like this and more people have passed. Mercy is the only way that you have survived, that means you have still given an opportunity to live then use it wisely.”
From there I started understanding the importance of living.
