One way to explore a country is by bicycle. In Lesotho this involves riding up the most enormous mountain passes. There are also long down hills. You need good gears on your bike for the uphills and good brakes for the downhills, when you are freewheeling. What’s so special about travelling this way is that it takes you completely away from what you’re used to. You mix with people you may just otherwise pass in a car. You learn more about their lives.
Join me on a bicycle ride through Lesotho, starting in the capital, Maseru.
