In matric Nolwazi had big dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman, but now she is working in a shebeen and struggling to look after her toddler, Ntsikelelo. When her school friends, Busi and Sive, find Nolwazi close to tears one evening, they persuade her not to give up on her future. With their support, and the support of Ma Ruby — who has a lifetime of experience as an entrepreneur — Nolwazi starts her own small business. It won’t be easy, she knows, but with people who believe in her she is determined to build a new life for herself and her son.
