The Smith family is having a braai. Hayley is very hungry. Dad gives her some boerewors that looks like a little man, but before Hayley can take a bite, the Boerewors Man runs away. The Smith family chase after him and are joined by many helpers along the way. When they reach Rondevlei Nature Reserve, the Boerewors Man enlists the help of a hippopotamus to take him across the vlei. Little does he know what danger lies ahead.
