Shinier and healthier looking plants
Too much dust on a plant can certainly detract from its looks, but it also suffocates it. This might not be the most pleasant method of protecting your plants from dust, but it is very effective!
All you need is these 3 simple items.
• Mayonnaise
• A knife that isn’t too sharp (won’t cut the leaves)
• Gloves (rubber)
Now that we’ve got our items, all you need to do is follow this one instruction.
• Use the flat side of the knife to lightly spread the mayonnaise over each leaf ( the gloves are to protect your hands from getting mayonnaise on them)
This simple method will help protect your plants allowing them to live longer and look much healthier.
Booby trap your garden
This method works best for slugs, snails, and caterpillars. Because of their soft underbellies, crushed egg shells will feel like razorblades to these greens-eaters.
All you need is eggshells for this one to work.
• Remove any half-eaten leaves and any insects on, or around, them.
• Sprinkle the egg shells around the plants that are being eaten, so that the slugs, snails and caterpillars can’t come back!
I hope these methods prove effective and that your garden will be happy and healthy!
