Are you studying at the moment? Are you feeling worried about how the academic year is going to pan out for you? We know that many young people are – including some of our FunDza team members who are studying part-time too. And, we also know that it can be hard to study from home when there are domestic chores to do, and other family members around.
Don’t despair, FunDza’s been thinking about how we can help… and so we’ve written a special blog – How to study under lockdown. FOLLOW the tips and you may be in a better position to put your study worries behind you!
The crisis of the coronavirus pandemic and the impact this is having on our lives might inspire fear and anxiety in some people, but it can spark creativity too. A number of our Fanz writers have written poetry or essays that reflect on these topical themes.
READ this poem entitled “Corona virus” by Fanz writer Anganathi Thomas… and there’ll be others that we’ll be highlighting in the next couple of days too.
Finally, SAY a big congratulations to the winners of our Human Rights Writing Challenge and READ their winning entries here. All the poems were submitted through our WhatsApp platform – if you haven’t tried it out, SIGN UP by sending ‘hi’ on WhatsApp to 0600 54 8676 now!
Stay home. Stay safe… Stay kind.
