Simba was tired from all the sheets and he walked back from work dragging his aching feet and thighs. Office work was never easy, even when you were sitting the whole day. It had been a year since he started working at DCC Accountants. The work piled up every day and this was something he had never anticipated. Despite the workload, Simba had a passion for his job.
He breathed deeply, sighing when he arrived at his front door. There was a delicate scent. He thought it was his neighbour who was always cooking ravishing food that made Simba’s mouth water. He had tasted it once when they welcomed him as a neighbour, and he wished he could cook like that: he had to eat cold food or takeaways. The door was unlocked, and he rushed inside thinking that his house had been hit by burglars. But when he got to the kitchen, he saw Tari wearing an apron and lingerie, with a spoon in her hand.
“Hey, what are you doing here? How did you get in?” he demanded.
Tariro smiled and continued stirring the pot of stew. Her body was revealed and he couldn’t move his eyes. Her breasts were mouthwatering, if only they could fill the stomach.
“I have my ways darling…Did you miss me?” she chuckled and stared at him.
He was lost in his mind watching her sexy body. Simba wondered for a moment who she was before he remembered that she was the lady from the bar with whom he had had a one-night stand.
“I thought…” he began, but was interrupted by Tariro who helped him remove his jacket.
“You thought wrong…Did you think it would end here?” she said, smiling. He couldn’t take his eyes off her body.
Simba wondered how she knew his thoughts. She asked him to sit and he obeyed like a servant. Her visit had caught him off guard. He thought she was one of those girls who sleep with one man and target another, but he was wrong.
“Lady…” He was interrupted again.
“Did you think you would just sleep with me and leave? Just like that?”
Her voice made him panic but he was a charmer and gentleman. He knew how to calm women down.
“Sorry, I didn’t want that. I just thought,” he said, pretending to go with the flow.
She had irritated him, he wanted to be alone that night. He couldn’t wait for her to leave. He managed to eat a little with her quietly, while she talked to him as if they were in a relationship. He kept playing with the spoon on the plate.
“Aren’t you hungry? Taste it, it’s delicious,” she said, with a chunk in her mouth.
He tasted a small portion and said, “Wow, you can cook!”
Tariro felt happy that her skills were noticed.
“I will eat tomorrow, I want sleep and rest,” he said, standing up and putting the plate in the fridge. He didn’t notice she was behind him.
“I am sorry…But you will love the desert.”
She kissed his lips. Simba felt aroused and he pushed her against the wall. He kissed her deeply while she undressed herself. The apron fell to the floor. He was charmed by her body. Seeing her curved hips made him want more.
A while later, Simba lay looking up at the roof with regret. He had made the same mistake twice. Tariro made him hungry for more but the truth was, he didn’t love her. He felt guilty about this. Her presence made his blood rush with adrenaline. How could tell her this shouldn’t happen ever again? She already thought they were in a relationship. He wished it was all a hit-and-run with no strings attached.
He felt something cold in the sheets. He jumped out of bed, pushing Tariro to one side. Tariro opened one eye but dozed off again. He pulled back the blanket and got a horrifying look: Tariro was half human and half fish! The cold thing he felt was the fish tail. His heart was blasting, he was frightened beyond words. What could he do? He had never been so scared in his life. He sat down wondering how he was going to get out of this. He watched Tariro sleep.
