The next morning Lucy found Gary undressed in the living room. She screamed. She found it was not only Gary but Memo too. They were both naked.

“What are you doing naked?” she shouted.

Lucy came and slammed the door. She breathed and was angry.

“I found Gary and Memo in an awkward position,” she shouted.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“You know, I don’t like Gary. I will leave,” she said angrily.

“I am sorry, I will talk to him. They must go today,” I hugged her.

When we went to the kitchen, both Gary and his woman had left. The kitchen was messy.

“What the hell? Gary? Gary!” I called and checked his room. They were gone but the bags were still there.

When I arrived at work I looked for Gary. He was in his office.

“You are careless. Did you see the mess you did in my kitchen?” I asked harshly.

“We didn’t mess anything,” he said.

“You must look for a place for your woman today,” I told him and left.

Lucy hated dirt. I couldn’t risk my relationship anymore. Lucy disliked Gary and Gary was so dirty and he lived like a pig. I knew this because I had been to his house. But he was my friend and I couldn’t throw him out with his woman. After work I picked up Lucy and we went home in the same taxi.

“Did you talk to Gary?” she asked.

“I did, but should we throw them out?” I asked.

We walked holding hands. I liked showing the whole world that Lucy was my woman.

“Tell him, there are rules in our home,” she said calmly.

We got inside the house and Memory arrived after some minutes.

“Are you joining us?” she asked.

Lucy stared at me. I didn’t know what it was about.

“Where?” I asked confused.

“P Square is performing…” she said and Lucy cut her off.

“We have plans,” Lucy said and pulled me to the bedroom.

“We aren’t going anywhere. We’ll cook dinner and watch a movie,” she said softly.

I loved P Square, now we will miss it because Lucy doesn’t want to go. She went to cook dinner. I sent a message to Gary.

“Do you have an extra ticket?”

“Yes, thought you and Lucy will join us.”

“Lucy won’t. I will join you. Send me the details.”

“Meet us at the club.”

I bathed and sneaked out while she sat on the couch. She didn’t see me walk out. I walked barefoot holding my shoes. I wore them outside. I walked faster to get the taxi. Gary and Memory were waiting outside at the bar.

It was too much fun. I never thought about Lucy. All I wanted was to watch the show and dance.

“It’s a pity Lucy didn’t join us,” Gary said.

I drank two castles and I was getting drunk. We ordered brandy and drank till we were tired. Memory was drunk too. Cabs were outside so we grabbed one which took us home.

“This was the party of the year,” Gary said loudly when we got home.

“Let’s not make noise,” I whispered.

“For who?” he spoke loudly.

We entered the house and Gary still talked loudly. I tried opening the bedroom but it was locked. I passed out on the floor near the door. I woke up feeling hot. I removed my trousers and slept.

“What are you doing with my girl?” Gary shouted.

It was after 5 a.m. I was puzzled to find Memory’s hands on my naked body.

“It’s not what you think.” I pushed her away.

“Did you sleep with her?” he shouted.

I didn’t remember the night. I was sure I didn’t sleep with her. She had her jeans removed. I stood up and tried to open the bedroom door. Memory woke up and wore her jeans quickly. She was embarrassed and I was ashamed. I didn’t sleep with her.

“What is going on?” Memory spoke.

I took hold of my trousers and wore them fast.

“That’s why you didn’t refuse to let Memo stay? You got jealous when your Lucy found me naked with Memo,” Gary shouted.

Lucy opened the door confused.

“You embarrass me Romeo, what’s the noise for?” she asked.

“Your boyfriend slept with my chick,” Gary said louder.

“That’s not true,” I said sadly.

“He was by the door, hanging his arms on my woman naked,” Gary shouted.

“You are cruel,” Lucy shouted and went back inside.
