“I really ended things with Lihle,” Asanda said.

“Why?” Liyon asked.

“You know why, because I fell in love with you, that’s why,” Asanda said.

“Wow, I must be special,” he said as he pushed her onto bed and kissed her. He then took her shirt off, but as he tried to take off her skirt she then began to refuse.

“I am sorry, Liyon, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do this without a condom,” Asanda said.

“Come on, baby, let’s do this without a condom. Let’s enjoy the moment,” he began to force himself on her.

“No, baby, we really need a condom!” Asanda began to get louder.

“Come on, Asanda, chill, you’re going to wake my parents in the next room. There’s no need to scream,” he began to get aggressive towards her. He then pulled at her and tore off her skirt.

“No! Liyon, no, please,” Asanda said. But he now held both her hands tightly to ensure no movement from her, and then with the other hand he took her panties off by force. She began to scream, trying to break free, but Liyon was too strong and he finally raped her.

“No!” Asanda cried.

“I am sorry. I tried to be gentle with you, but you would not understand, so this was the only way,” he said while raping her. She cried continuously but he never stopped until he had enough of her. Then, he gave her money and begged for forgiveness.

“Baby, I am really sorry. I can give you more money so that you can buy more clothes. I am sorry for tearing off your skirt, but am sure that your parents won’t see because I am going to take you home just now,” said Liyon.

“All you care about is money and the stupid expensive clothes you’re telling me about. What about how I feel?” Asanda asked with a broken heart.

They then got in the car and drove 10 km to where Asanda lived. Liyon, along the way, continued with his apologies, blaming the alcohol, saying that it was an expensive, strong kind of beer. Asanda never uttered word. They finally reached Asanda’s home and she got out the car.

“Liyon, it’s over. Never call me again, even on WhatsApp. Don’t attempt to text me because I’m going to block you and report you for rape,” Asanda said. After hearing the word rape, Liyon then agreed and took off, and Asanda went back and sneaked inside a window which she had intentionally left open for her to come back to so that she could sneak in again.
