From that day on, Themba was a little nicer to Mbali. He wouldn’t make the silly comments he used to make or say rude things to her. Now whenever Themba was off from work, she would go out of her way to try and seduce him. She wore only her most sexy dresses, shorts, and even went to the extent of wearing nothing lingerie and had only a satin gown to cover up. She was sure this was getting his attention as his behaviour towards her had changed.
Just when she thought she had reeled him in; that it was only a matter of time before he made his move, Themba brought a girl home.
Mbali was surprised, but she quickly reminded herself that he is in a stable relationship. But somehow something wasn’t right. The girl would be brought in when Sethu wasn’t there and taken home before he returned from work. But why? Mbali thought to herself. She then decided to find out what the deal was, and who best to ask than the lovely Sethu himself?
What Mbali discovered was shocking. Themba was a serial cheat. He had about five girlfriends, excluding the one back home. He even dated people he worked with. Mbali was disappointed. Then even more troubling to her was why Themba made no advances towards her? She was gorgeous! That one girl Themba brought home was just OK, she wasn’t even half as cute as Mbali. Mbali once again was on a mission to get her prize.
The following morning Mbali got up early and made herself some Oats; she was really craving for it. while she was in the kitchen eating, Themba came in and greeted her. She didn’t reply. He tried joking and even tickling her but she just remained stationary and starred at him. He didn’t know why she was acting like that but he walked away without asking. He was not the begging type.
Days later she SMSed him but he didn’t reply. Later she saw him in the kitchen and asked him, “Hey when did you get home?” trying to make small talk.
“When I came to the kitchen the other day you didn’t even greet me. Now, you want my response?” he said in a harsh tone.
“What day?” she asked. Bu he just stared at her and left the room, leaving her confused.
She sat in her room and tried to remember; she had completely forgotten. When it finally came to her she SMSed him while he was at work.
I’M SORRY, WASN’T IN THE MOOD THAT DAY. I RECEIVED TERRIBLE NEWS.
He texted back: ITS FYN!
He always used SMS text. At that moment, like a strong wave, an idea hit her. She started hatching her next move and was going to use this to her advantage. She texted back.
NO, IT’S NOT! WILL A NECK AND SHOULDER RUB DO? 😉
