The following day in class, Isabel closely looked at Kevin. There was just some spark about this guy – something unusual. The focus he had was amazing. He didn’t even look to the side for a moment. It was like Kevin was hanging on every word of the lecturer. Isabel felt that he was special and her mother always told her to get a guy who had the same standard and goals as her, but she wasn’t sure whether Kevin felt the same.

Class was dismissed and the learners left the classroom. Kevin stayed behind to cover a few extra chapters and Isabel thought she could pick his brain on a couple of theories. The two studied together and covered a lot of work. They then decided to work together on a regular basis.

After a few study sessions together, Isabel suggested that they go for drinks. Kevin was surprised, but Isabel spiced it up by inviting a few extra friends to avoid any awkwardness.

They arrived at Club 679 where they found Ben, Maggie, Tyson and Hussein waiting for them. Ben was studying mechanical engineering, Maggie was into travel and tourism, Tyson was an IT student and Hussein was studying law as well. Kevin was interested in getting to know Tyson. He knew that he could help him hack into accounts or documents if necessary.

Kevin got Tyson’s number then left the club and went to the residence where he stayed. He called his mother to check how they were holding up. His mother was happy to hear from him and was also happy to hear that he has settled in well. Emma also mentioned that she and his sister were starting to settle in together peacefully.

First thing in the morning he called Tyson to set up a meeting for later on. The aim of this meeting was to hear whether Tyson might be willing to join forces with Kevin. When the two met up, they mostly talked about Tyson’s line of work. Kevin learned that information doesn’t disappear, there are many software’s that can retrieve them. He knew that he had to bring Tyson to his side.

Tyson was just a regular coloured guy from Cape Town. It also was his first time in Johannesburg. He developed a love for computers from early childhood. He would spend his weekends helping his uncle with repairing old and broken computers.
He then chose to study IT because he loved computers so much. He understood them better than anything else.

He did part-time jobs helping thieves hack into certain databases. He once helped a group of thieves break into a warehouse in Cardock. His job was to make sure that the surveillance cameras were off so that they couldn’t be traced. The heist was almost successful. The police managed to arrest the thieves, but couldn’t arrest Tyson because there was nothing to link him to anything. After this incident, Tyson vowed to quit the world of crime.

Tyson worked with many small-time thieves, so he knew how to tackle some difficult situations. Tyson was also a good guy trying to survive in this bad world. You can’t blame him for the things he does in order to make ends meet. Hacking bank accounts, social media accounts and emails were his everyday thing. He liked hacking, but his worst fear was being arrested. Tyson has never been to jail and he heard the terrible stories of what happens in jail. It would be tricky for Kevin to win him over because they were going against rich people, people who had high levels of security and people on their payroll. Kevin was tasked with finding a weakness in Tyson. He had to win him over even if it meant blackmailing him.
