Sipho

The two police are patrolling the neighbourhood at night. They drive to a corner and see four women wearing short clothes. They can see their naked bodies and for Sipho and Gideon, it’s like watching a movie.

The tall one is looking around, probably checking for cars to be their clients. The short one is standing close to her, almost hiding and there are two others with them. The short one keeps turning her head and shaking, as if she’s afraid. They are talking but the tall one talks without taking her eyes off the street. She looks like a pro.

Sipho watches the emotional conservation even though he can’t hear what they are talking about. He drives off to the corner. All of them stand still. Gideon stays in the car.

“What are you doing at this time of night?” he asks, checking them all. He only admires the short one.

“I can give you my all,” Gamu exclaims, flirting with him.

“No, I want that one,” he points at the short, nervous one.

“I can’t, Gamu. See what you’re putting me in?” she cries, hiding behind another prostitute.

“She is still new. I can give you, she will probably come around,” Gamu whispers in his ears.

“If you only promise,” he says.

Gideon gets out of the car and pulls the other one in the car, he smiles at the short one and the one she is hiding behind. He gets in his car with Gamu and drives away.

Sipho and Gideon spend two hours with the women, having fun. They have sex and with loud blast of laughter that he can’t hear the walkie-talkie making noise.

“Sipho, the walkie-talkie,” Gideon shouts.

Gamu is busy touching Sipho’s hairy chest. Gideon turns back and pulls Sipho because he can see that he is not responding.

“Bravo over, we have a situation at the mall CBD,” the walkie-talkies says.

“We have to move, Gideon notify them that we are on the way,” he gets out the car.

Sipho buttons his shirt and zips his trousers. He checks if his gun is in the same position facing down. He opens the door and Gideon shifts to the other side. The ladies sit at the back. They dress properly, Gideon seem to struggle to zip his trousers. Sipho drives to the mall and he drops the ladies off before they get close. Gideon gets out the car to fix his trousers. He quickly jumps in. They see Gabriel and Zachariah holding guns, pointing at Stanbic Bank. They quickly get out and join their friends.

“How many are the criminals?” asks Sipho.

“Six,” Gabriel answers.

“We should call for backup,” Gideon says, wanting to alert other police. Zachariah pulls him close. They keep checking while hiding behind a 4×4.

“We can handle them,” Gabriel whispers.

Sounds are coming from the bank then the six criminals walk out holding bags. They all shoot them except two who kneel down with their hands up. They ran fast to them and cuff them. The four criminals have leg injuries because they got shot. They look at each other with sad faces. Gabriel smiles and opens one bag. He grabs some cash and puts it in his pockets.

“Alert the ambulance and other police,” Gideon shouts.

“Don’t! We need to take cash also before they come,” Gabriel says loudly.
