As our yesterday,
Trails in our veins,
Our history of tradition,
Rhymes to kinds of our rhythm,
Our ability to be diverse,
Yet remain grounded by our humanity.

Abiding and joined
By our benevolence to one another,
Remain still rooted
To our resemblance,
Of our diverse celebrations,
Of our inheritance.

As we tell our rich history,
In many forms different,
But singing and dancing in one course,
Our heritage,
As we pride ourselves of being Africans,
Chant, sing and showcase
That we are our heritage.
