As I look around pain and hurt is all I see
Death and greed is all that is common
Hate in people’s eyes is all that’s visible
What happened to the world, why do we do these things?
Looking back things where not like this
People were full of love now all I see is hate
What have our people fought for back then?
They died for us so we can have a better future
And to repay them we bring the same hate on every race
We can be better, we can do better
Let’s give the children of tomorrow something to take pride in
Lord, our Saviour, give us the courage we need the pass on good
But it is in the past and I was just hoping for those days back
I am reminiscing
