It descends from the heavens
Cleansing about the world’s misdeeds
Clearing for a certitude of solace
To bring about some semblance of peace
By day it precipitates for all the ambivalent flowers
Blooming from the world’s imperfect land
By night it pours for all the nocturnal lovers
So, they dance to their hearts’ content
It swims in the world’s surface and beyond
In an artless conjoint with mother nature’s aquarium
And drums bliss to clear the world’s repeated mistakes
On this land of the living sodden in delirium
Rain
It falls an immaculate drop
An embrace of consolation like a teardrop
Its very touch like a non-foreseen eavesdrop
And a wish it doesn’t elude a stop
