Oh dear skies allow me.
Allow me to use deep sighs and deep breaths in between
my poems
So that I can hide
some of my tears in them.

Allow me to have a big pot belly of my own so that I can hide my fears in it.

Allow me to have nice white dentures
So that I can have a beautiful fake smile.

Allow me six more pairs of my six-inch wedges
So that I can continue walking tall even when my confidence ceases.

Allow me three more piercings.
All the extra shine to take off
The attention from my
Fearing eyes.

Oh dear skies
Allow me.
