As I pondered in the dark I felt enslaved,
Not by chains nor walls of imprisonment,
Mainly by my own prejudices and insecurities
Liberation had to be my only salvation.
Awake I had to be at all costs,
To seek high levels of consciousness had to be my mission.
From enslavement imprisonment prejudices,
Here I am speaking words of consciousness and liberation,
And these have formed part of my daily vocabulary.
Never shall I return to the place of darkness.
