The Lord is mighty in battle
and he is dressed
in glorious armour
sword and shield
are at his side.

He wears the armour
of salvation
his strength is wisdom
his power is love
he walks and doors open
and others he shuts.

God is in the royal house
ready for war
he will subdue nations
and raise up kings and priests
he ministers to the lowly
and broken
his banner raised.

The captain the great I am
the alpha and omega
he indeed is the great king
and he is won the victory
God is mighty, yes
