I recall the days:
When Mother Earth was still a virgin;
Her beauty was real pure.
Each day she lived she gave birth to
The silence of the night that was too loud.
Oh dear mother earth;
Could you make a wish on the mirror
And recall those days:
When old days were gold;
And beggars were dignified
When the war was so peaceful;
Even enemies became friends.
And deep in my heart I hope
Your wish comes to life;
For we cried less and prayed more;
Shooting stars were lighters in the sky
Children played outside more
Chasing butterflies that were;
Flowers of the atmosphere;
Love letters tickled a lovers heart.
Today you are just another use to be
Full of tears in your eye bags;
your heart all wrinkled up and old
