I’ve been to hell and back
To tell the devil in white
There’s nowhere to hide
I could feel her rage
As she slams the cage door, trapped.

At ten its porridge
In turn I’ll need some courage
Her fierce fork piece my skin
Only this time it’s needles
Has she got any kin?
A push, then it flows through my veins. Needless.

Its seven, her shift ends
My fear bends, free, I roam around
Could recall my cage overlooking the ground
Before I know it, it’s ten again
This time I’ll hold my ground.

At ten it’s porridge
On time with her entourage
She walks in, in her white robes
Then I feel the need to hide
And get a rope…
Just then, “We’ve had hopes and now you can cope,”
She said!
