I saw death walking around the corner
I asked her name she said “Corona”
She’s titled the best newcomer
You can’t smell her, she’s got no aroma

You can see her through you on the second week
And that time your respiratory system will be weak
She’s not an African born, she’s got small eyes
She left her country with many goodbyes

They saw her visit in Durban
I’m not sure whether rural or urban
But her steps leaves dust and tears
She’s the worst news in everybody’s ears

I wish whoever came with the plan of her visit
Would take her back home in transit
Devils create diseases as project
But we’ll keep on praying to the Almighty to protect

Stay safe but don’t ask me how
Cause everyone is anxious now.
