I come bearing fangs
Not as a means to intimidate
But just as a matter of fact.
This is not my design
Yet I embrace it.

Perhaps in the past
Your stones could hurt me
Or perhaps that pain was only in my head
I used to fear your realization of what I truly am
But now, all that phases me not.

I am agile
I am strong
I am smart, I dare not say wise
Yet somehow, I let you best me
And bind me with your chains

I’ve realized they’re easily shattered
If I but will it.
It doesn’t matter when you see me
I mean really see me,
I am a beast.
Fear me,
Revere me!
