Deep inside the forest
Stood our lonely village forever
Deprived of its wealth
Its labour force is no longer health
The foe had ruined our villages
While we were teenagers
They killed our ancestors
Our tradition they say it’s ancient
Our sisters they seduced
Easter they introduced
They enslaved our brothers
They took our herd and land
Holding a gun and bible in their hands
Preaching about God
But seeking for gold

They spill our sweat and black blood
They break our bold bonds
Saying black is evil
But their deeds our from the devil
They use African people
To make ample profits
