Every day she felt that she had no purpose. She was a young, beautiful, girl of color with spiral locks falling down her nape. Her mom always told her that she was special, but she felt like she was an outcast in her community. She wondered why her roots were so mixed up: White, Asian, Colored, African. She always felt embarrassed about her family. That is, until she met a Professor at University who demonstrated the value of having a different background and told her that it must work to her advantage. She had ancestral links to many cultures, and all of them were focused on and believed in One God. It was no longer a problem for her to wonder: Where do I hang in this mixture of colors? The professor helped her understand that if she knew her purpose in life, she would be happy.
