How to avoid the 10 wrong mind-sets that keep you stuck in the wilderness.
Everyone else is better off than I am.
Think this – I am unique and special. God loves me, and he has a wonderful, personalised plan for my life.

My future is determined by my past and present.
Think this – all things are possible with God, and I have a bright future ahead of me.

It’s not my fault.
Think this – I always take responsibility for my actions. God, please show me the truth about myself so I can grow and change.

It’s too hard.
Think this – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can do everything God asks me to do.

My life is so miserable, I feel sorry for myself.
Think this – I am so grateful for all that God has done for me. My life is blessed and filled with good things.

I am addicted to complaining.
Think this – I’m determined to see the good in every situation. I will remain grateful to God and say things that are positive and uplifting.

Somebody do it for me.
Think this – I love to work hard, do my part and see things through to the end. The lord blesses the work of my hands.

I don’t deserve God’s blessings.
Think this – God loves and approves of me, and today I choose to receive his mercy, grace and forgiveness for my life.

Don’t make me wait – I deserve everything immediately.
Think this – I am peaceful and patient and trust God to give me exactly what I need in his perfect timing.

I’m going to do it my way or not at all.
Think this – I want God’s will in every area of my life. I’m flexible to obey and follow him wherever he leads me.

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world. There is nothing more visible than what is secret. So, the true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life.

However, one may think the palest ink is better than the best memory, a step in the wrong direction is better than staying on the spot all your life. Someone said once, “Ability in itself is nothing when denied opportunity,” I have a drive that you ask the experienced rather than the learned.
