Tshidiso is a 17-year-old learner in Grade 11 at Mopholosi Secondary School, Sebokeng, Gauteng. He is studying English, Sesotho, Life Orientation, Maths Lit, Accounting, Economics and Business Studies.

Maru by Margaret Cadmore and Mme by NP Maake.

What is your favourite movie?
There are no specific movies that I can call my favourite but I do love one genre of movies: any kind of comedy.

What are your hobbies?
Being with my friends, talking a lot, being with my spouse, playing word games and doing quizzes.

What inspires you to write?
I am mostly inspired by something I feel in a particular moment. I hold a pen and let it meet the page. So, in conclusion, my inspiration for my poems comes from my emotions and my experience.

What is your message to the youth?
In order to be what you dream of, travel everyday trying to paint that picture from your dreams into your reality. Life has no boundaries and disappointments. Life is limitless – so never give up.
