Phathiswa is 16 years old. She lives in Welkom and goes to Welkom-Gimnasium.

She loves reading novels and writing poetry. Her favourite book is Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult.

She loves listening to deep house, soul and gospel music.

Her message to the youth of SA today:
Dare to be different. Don’t follow what your peers do – they may lead you astray. Instead follow your own heart’s desires. Always stay happy!
