For Oralic Arsipsis, the journey began in early 2004, during her Grade 7 year. Referring to herself as “Afrocentric” during her foetal days, she continued writing during her arduous high school years. And through an artistic network she birthed together with a large clique comprised of friends, all female, she performed at school functions.

Come 2009, ”Ms O” or “Miss Arsipsis”, as she is aptly known, had found euphoria in the UJ Poetry society, which she went on to Vice Chair in the year 2011. A word smith with “more content than you can contain”, her words are raw and thought-provoking, soothing, controversial and more than anything, truthful and emotive. A few minutes in her aura and be engulfed by the motley crew that is she.

Not content with having only bags full of words, the femme fatale that is O.R Harbinger is also a crafter and jewellery designer. That began with the intimate and intricate meditation that is beading.

This hard-hitting lyrical power-house is a feminist, life-giver, a style icon and packs much heat and life. She is Woman. Light-bearer. Truth-seeker. Teacher. Activist. Writer. Performer. Everything and nothing.
