I’m a fifteen year old aspiring writer with a passion for both mental and physical activity. One could say that I’m tall, or it could be said that I’m a human version of Jack’s beanstalk. I constantly strive to be kind to those around me.
I came to be a writer for the funDza Literary Trust through a writing competition that they hosted. I entered simply because the teachers at our school encouraged us to compete, I didn’t know it would turn into such an amazing opportunity for recognition.
When I was younger I used to get angry a lot. I used to vent out my emotions through writing them on a page. My passion for writing helped me excel in my creative writing examinations.
The words of inspiration I live by are simply the last line of my essay, The journey to finding my story: “Everyone has their own story, so don’t let yours be forgotten.”
