I am one of four producers of EdTech Summit Africa. I am currently working at Mitchell House in Polokwane teaching English and IT as a student teacher, while studying at the University of South Africa (UNISA) for my Bachelors of Education. I am an Under 12 Soccer assistant coach and leads a Bible Study Club at Mitchell House.
I joined the GTI Future Leaders Program in 2015 and I was an intern teacher at LEAP Science and Maths School. I left the GTI Future Leaders Program in 2017. I was part of a select group of teachers-in-training who traveled to the U.S. in 2016 as a part of the Global Teachers Institute and Teach With Africa exchange program studying schools and programs in California. I am passionate about Education and Technology and have taught myself many technology strategies that I incorporate into my teaching. I was a presenter during EdTech Summit Africa in 2016 and 2017, leading workshops for educators around South Africa and Swaziland about the implementation of technology tools in the classroom. I was also a keynote speaker at The Global Education Conference 2016.
